Is It Constructive to Be Patient or…?

It was about one P.M when General Babaee and I arrived at martyr Hemmat Base, and went straight to see the base commander. After greeting, martyr Babaee said,
"Our brother has not had lunch, if there's anything left bring it. The colonel asked, "Have you had lunch yourself?" Martyr Babaee thought it might have been difficult for them to prepare food for both of us, so he answered, "Don't worry about me".
A small table was prepared for us, and we began eating. While we were eating, we heard a few pilots gossiping next room. One of them was telling bad things behind martyr Babaee. We could hear them loud and clear. Several times I decided to go to their room and tell them that General Babaee is here, but Babaee stopped me.
Finally the base commander went and told them" Colonel, you talk too much."
That pilot after a while came to our room in order to talk to the base commander when he suddenly faced with General Babaee. The general did not react, and stood up and kissed him and said, "Please sit and have lunch with us".
The pilot said, "General please, forgive me, I am very sorry" Martyr Babaee said, "You have done nothing to be sorry for. I am not in any position to forgive you. YOU must forgive me, Because I had given you mission and brought you here and separated you from your family That pilot began to cry as soon as he heard Babaee's nice and kind words.
