The Helper of the Miserable

Abbass used to help the miserable all the times. During the summer he helped the farmers in order to collect their products. In winters when there was heavy snow he used to clean the roofs of the poor people's houses.
I remember some time before his martyrdom. I came across Abbass while I was passing Saeedi Street in Qazvin. He was carrying a disabled man from both legs, in order to be unknown; he put a thin cloth over his head. I knew him and approached to help. I said hello and asked in a surprising way, "What has happened Abbass? Where are you going?"
While he was surprised by seeing me said, "I am taking this old man to the public bath house. He does not have anybody to help him. He has not taken a bath for a long time."
I was shocked by facing this scene and admired him by all my soul and heart.
