World Congress of Islam to Be Held

TEHRAN, (SCIB) – The World Congress of Islam is going to be held over the New Year (beginning March 21, 2007) on the occasion of 26th martyrdom anniversary of Master Motahhari. The Congress is being held with the goal of preventing terrorism and also spreading and promoting Martyr Morteza Motahhari's thoughts, said Hojjatoleslam Heidar Moslehi. He added that the Congress will be held on May 1-2, 2007 on the occasion of Teacher Week attending a great number of experts and professors.
