Artist: Ancestors Accomplish Great Works on Prophet

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - “This year has been named, “The Year of Grand Prophet of Islam”?, in such occasions we usually observe certain people try to exploit the situation to their own benefit and they may even become blasphemous.”? Soheil Mahmoudi said over the “Khatam Age”? poetry evening. He added, “The artistic works accomplished by our enemies to undermine our prophet‘s image enjoy high artistic values, but when we seek to defend our beliefs through creating equally strong artistic works, we fail to do so.”? Mahmoudi went on to recite some old poetry and said, “We regret to see the weak works produced today despite this rich literary heritage. Our ancestors certainly put a lot of effort into the creation of artistic works related to the prophet.”? Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi also recited a poem in praise of the prophet and said, “Prophetic poetry started at the time of the prophet and this field has seen the emergence of many great poets.”? This event continued with recitations by other poets Alireza Ghazveh, Abdoljabbar Kakaei, Moshfegh Kashani, Abbas Baratipour, Reza Esmaeili, Abbas Sadjadi, Ismaeel Amini, Kamran Sharafshahi, Akbar Behdarvand and Khalil Emrani.
