Judgment of Prophet Story-Writing Contest Ends

TEHRAN, (SCIB) -As the works participating in the Grand Prophet’s story-writing contest for children and young adults have been judged, the selected names will be announced in April 2007.
TEHRAN, (SCIB) -As the works participating in the Grand Prophet’s story-writing contest for children and young adults have been judged, the selected names will be announced in April 2007. According to Shahed Cultural Information Base (SCIB), Javad Hazini, secretary of the Association of Writers of Children and Young Adults Literature, said that approximately 300 works have been submitted to the secretariat of the contest and the judges have finished the selection of these works. Three participants have reportedly been selected whose names will be announced early in April. Ten other participants in this contest will receive acclaim for their work. The closing ceremony of this contest will be held in Isfahan after Nowrouz (Iranian New Year) holidays with the cooperation of Islamic, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Association of Writers of Children and Young Adults Literature. In addition to Iran, countries like Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Germany, etc have participated in this contest.
