27th anniversary of Commander Kharazi’s martyrdom

A Man who changed the Frontline to an Endeavour School

Navideshahed- Martyr Hossein Kharazi was an eminent commander who participated in many operations during the imposed war of Iraq against Iran (1980-1988).

The eminent commander of the corps of Islam Martyr Hossein Kharazi was born in Isfahan in 1957. During his soldiering time, he followed Imam Khomeini’s call on soldiers to abandon garrisons and joined the revolutionary people. Early in the post-revolution era, he was entrusted the responsibility to guard the roads leading to the city, but a year later and coincident with the rebellion of anti-revolution groups in Gonbad and Turkmensahra, he was dispatched to the region to command a part of the subduing operation and then did the same in Kurdistan sedition.
With the beginning of Iran-Iraq war and fall of Khoramshahr, he was dispatched to Khuzestan and commanded Basij forces in Khat-shir region to encounter Baathist invading forces. He also participated as commander in the Operations Samen-al-Aemeh, Fath-al-Mobin, Bayt-al-Muqaddas, Kheybar, Badr, Valfajr 8, Karbala 4, and Karbala 5. Eminent Hossein Kharazi eventually was honored by martyrdom on February 27, 1987, during victorious Operation Karbala 5 while commanding Imam Hossein 14th Division. His holy body was buried, after a glorious funeral procession, in Isfahan’s Rosary of Martyrs (Takht-e-Foulad).
