Navideshahed- A ceremony was held at the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) in Damascus, Syria to celebrate the great lady’s birthday.

Shia and Sunni personalities and different groups of Muslims took part in the celebration on Thursday, Al-Manar website reported.
Addressing the ceremony, Grand Mufti of Syria Ahmed Hassoun referred to the attacks on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) and said despite these attacks by Takfiris, they have failed to put out the light of that great lady of Islam in people’s hearts.
He also congratulated the army, government and people of Syria for their resistance in the three-year war against terrorists.
A number of other scholars and sheikhs present at the ceremony delivered speeches in which they underlined the need for Syria’s Muslims to remain steadfast in the face of challenges.
