Israel settlers raid West Bank village

Navideshahed- Israeli settlers have raided and vandalized a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank.

The extremist attackers from the Havat Gilad outpost near the city of Nablus entered the village of Jit on Saturday.
The settlers threw stones at Palestinian homes and smashed car windshields.
Palestinians also reacted to the so-called price tag attack and forced the stone-throwing settlers to leave the village.
Israeli extremists say the “price tag”? attacks are carried out against any Israeli policy to reduce the presence of settlers and settlements on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East al-Quds.
The Saturday incident is the latest in a string of attacks by extremist Israeli settlers on Palestinian mosques, homes, cemeteries and farmlands.
On February 20, six Palestinians were injured in clashes that broke out after Israeli settlers attacked a high school south of Nablus.
The attack led to the subsequent intervention of dozens of villagers and Israeli forces.
A day earlier, settlers hurled rocks at schoolchildren in the village of Burin and beat up a 50-year-old man in a similar raid on the village.
Human rights groups say the Tel Aviv regime ignores complaints by the victims of the “price tag”? attacks.
The UN says there were 399 incidents of settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 2013.
More than half a million Israelis live in over 120 illegal settlements built since Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and East al-Quds in 1967.
