Mosques; first Islamic base

The head of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization local office in Langrud has said Islamic society’s base and cultural development of a society hinge upon the existence of mosques.
“Mosques are the main fortress and citadel to protect Islam”? said hujjatuleslam Mohammad Amiri while talking among the mosques custodians.
He added that during the Islamic Revolution of Iran mosques were the main centers to fight the Pahlavi regime. Also during the war years mosques were the most important centers to send soldiers to the war fronts and support them, held Amiri.
“Islam pays great attention to mosques which shows its important role within the Islamic society.”? Said he and that “mosques are important Islamic centers which with cultural and religious programs can recruit young people.”?
