President Thanks Nation for Massive Participation in Revolution Anniversary’s Rallies

Navideshahed- Iran’s president Hojat-ol-Islam Hassan Rouhani thanked the people of the country for their massive participation in Tuesday rallies.

The rallies, held all over the country, marked the 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
Hojat-ol-Islam Rouhani said the epic marches on Bahman 22 (February 11) were a renewal of the great nation’s allegiance with the sublime values and aspirations of the Islamic Revolution.
“… You indicated to the world that all (of the country’s) men and women of different races, groups and political tastes are a united front,”? he added.
He also described the revolutionary people’s presence in the rallies as inspiring and said it showed people’s steadfast faith in religious beliefs and their mentality of opposing colonialism and tyranny.
The president went on to say that the government appreciates the faithful, revolutionary, brave and insightful nation for depicting another manifestation of greatness, power and grandeur.
Mass rallies were held in cities across Iran on Tuesday on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
In Tehran, the rallies wrapped up with a statement in which Iranian people voiced support for the Islamic establishment and deplored the recent US threatening remarks against Iran.
The Iranian demonstrators in capital Tehran, who attended the mass rallies in their millions, announced in the final statement that they will continue to call for the country’s diplomatic channels to “adopt explicit stances”? in dealing with the country’s enemies.
