The statement also denounced any move that could sow discord among the Iranian people and damage the national unity, and emphasized the necessity for solidarity and rapport among the whole Iranians with different religions.
The demonstrators then took a swipe at the US officials for their “impolite, outrageous and threatening”? remarks about the viability of military option against the Islamic Republic, and threw their weight behind the Iranian military commanders who made a “revolutionary and decisive”? reply to the Americans.
This comes after some senior US officials have in recent weeks stepped up their provocative remarks about a possible military action against Iran.
Meanwhile, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Monday played down the US “ludicrous talk”? of military action as a viable option against Iran, arguing that even the American military commanders are well aware that such an option would not work anymore.
Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari lashed out at Washington for its repeated rhetoric of taking military action against Iran, and explained that the US claim that military option is still on the table is just to make the White House’s policies more palatable to the US nation.
