Neauphle-le-Château to Host Ceremony on Ten-Day Fajr Festival

Navideshahed- The 35th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic revolution’s victory will be celebrated on February 8 by the Iranian Cultural Center in Neauphle-le-Château Commune in France.

The center announced that the ceremony will be attended by representatives from Islamic unions of students, Islamic Center of France, Iranian embassy and eminent figures of Islamic organizations of the two countries.
Neauphle-le-Château gained international fame in 1978 when, on October 8, Imam Khomeini rented and moved into a house there following his exile by Pahlavi regime in the midst of the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
Imam continued to reside there until the following year, when he returned to Iran following the collapse of the regime, and later became Iran\'s Supreme Leader.
The house will be decorated and host the program to be addressed by the Iranian ambassador to France.
Moderate thoughts of the late founder of Islamic Revolution and achievements of the revolution will be clarified at the program.
Among the activities of the cultural center on the occasion has been the publication of “The Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) Life in View of Imam Khomeini (RA)”? and “Jihad-e Akbar or Struggle with the Soul”?, two works by Imam Khomeini (RA), in French language.
The center has also organized an exhibition of artworks by Mir Shams, Iranian artist, opened on February 3 at the center.
It also plans to gift some copies of books about the life and thought of Imam Khomeini (RA) to Islamic centers and institutes in France during the Ten-Day Fajr Festival.
Moreover, the Iranian President’s speech on “The World against Violence and Extremism”? presented at the General Assembly of the UN is being translated by the cultural center in the French language and will be published in a booklet and online.
