Imam Mahdi is like Sun behind Clouds

“Most sunni scholars believe in the Savior,”? said a noted Islamic scholar. Referring to Hadithes that introduces Imam Mahdi, a descendant of imam Hossein, as the savior, Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani said: “not only the Quran but also books by Shiite and sunni scholars confirm the re-emergence of Imam Mahdi.”? “Although most of them believe that He will be born in future, some 68 Sunni scholars say that He has already been born”? he added. “Saudi scholars confirmed this a few years ago when a man claimed he was Mahdi. Stressing that the birth and the lifespan of Imam Mahdi as well as how we can use his presence are three main issues of importance in Mahdavia faith, Ayatollah added: “Imam Mahdi was born in 256 Hijri. In Abjad set 256 is equal to Noor (=light).
