It was 10:00 o’clock in the morning that 12 Iraqi tanks from the armored Army 3 were advancing from the southern side of Garmdasht station towards the battalions of Maghdad and Meisam. Mohsen Vozarayee was commanding these two battalions himself. He was commanding them in the road Ahvaz-Khorramshahr.

Mohsen Vozarayee would command all the battalions which would be directed by Moharram Operation by wireless system and with a serious voice said: “To all units, to all units! All of you advance towards the enemy so quickly…. Allah O Akbar (God is great)!”?

When the enemy intensified its fires, the western side of Karoon River was shaking and the regular opening fire by more than tens of cannons, hundreds of modern tanks and all the heavy weapons like mortars had focused on the war zone. The helicopters equipped with cannon made in Russia and France of the Air Force of the enemy had arrived to the headquarters and they were shooting towards Iranians who had only light weapons. At this moment the forces of Meisam Tamar Battalion under commandership of ‘Abbas Shaf’, the old comrade of Mohsen got close to the place where he and his forces had stationed.

Mohsen had stood on the road that had no shelters and the forces were fighting without any rifle pits and he would say in a way that he had a rasping voice; As he was concerned, he would say, dear brothers at least come to the opposite side of the road, Abbas Shaf went to Mohsen and he hugged him.

They hugged each other under the heavy fire of enemy for a few minutes. Still they had not separated each other that suddenly a dreadful explosion occurred near Mohsen and then….

When Abbas went near Mohsen, he saw him that along with his second deputy ‘Hussein Taghavi Manesh’ and their wireless server were in so much bloods; After that he opened the black muffler of Mohsen slowly and he covered the dusty face of friend and brother who had been martyred. He picked the wireless receiver.

- Ahmad, Ahmad, Shaf

Motevaseliyan: Shaf, Ahmad, I’m listening

- Haj Agah, listen so carefully; There is a heavy fire; Moharram lost its leader; Mr. Mohsen…Mr. Mohsen….

Shaf could not talk anymore and Ahmad Motevaseliyan had heard what he needed to hear.
