"The Heavenly Mayors" Commemoration to be Held for the First Time
Navideshahed: The first memorial ceremony of "The Heavenly Mayors" will be held today to commemorate 148 martyrs from Tehran's Municipality.
According to Navideshahed, the ceremony will be held today (September 14, 2011) in the Great Hall of Interior Affairs Ministry by Basidj Resistance Center of Tehran's Municipality and the General Office of Martyrs and Veterans.
The managers and commanders of ministries Basidj, General Hussein Salami, the Vice Commander in Chief of Revlution Guards Corps, and Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Mayor of Tehran.
The ceremony includes several parts such as memory telling, plays performance covering the Islamic Revolution times to the homecoming of war prisoners era, brief studies on the body of martyrs, and the glorification martyrs' families.
