Mohammad-javad Bahonar was born in Kerman City in 1933. He went to “Maktab-khaneh”? (Traditional schools in which Koran and religious lessons were taught) at the age of 5 years old. He started to learn religious sciences in “Masoumieh”? School of Kerman when he was 10 years old. In order to complete his knowledge in Islamic sciences, he went to the holy city of Ghom in 1953. He decided to focus on academic studies beside traditional lessons of “Hozeh Elmieh”?. He received his BA in Theology Course five years later. He continued academic education till receiving PhD. He published “School of Shiite”? magazines at that time. He delivered a lecture on the anniversary of martyrdom of martyrs in “Feyzieh”? event in 1964. He was arrested and imprisoned after delivering lecture. “SAVAK”? put his name on its black list as an important fighting element after that. And this intelligence service never left him free. He was imprisoned and tortured several times. He became a member in “Islamic Revolution Council”? based on the command of Imam Khomeini in 1978. He was elected as the representative of Kerman City in “Majles Khobregan”? and “Majles of Islamic Council”? in 1980. He was assigned as the prime minister during the time Rajayee was the elected president of Iranian people. He was martyred in a bomb attack by “Monafeghin”? (It means hypocrites and it was said to a party that fought against Islamic Republic of Iran) to the presidential office on August 29th of the same year. His memories and one life time of jihad and efforts will remain in history forever.
