According to the reporter of Navideshahed; the Golden Phoenix Plaque that had been awarded to the film “Child of Earth”? made by Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar in the section “National Look”? of 26th Fajr Film Festival was presented to “Martyrs Museum”? within a ceremony in Andisheh Hall of “Hozeh Honari”? on Monday evening March 10th, 2008. Saffar Harandi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance attended this ceremony and appreciated “Hozeh Honari”? as the holder of the ceremony. He said: “I hope that “Hozeh Honari”? increases such efforts in future. And with increasing the number of sacred defense films, our friends are not anymore worried about holding sacred defense festival. The number of sacred defense films should increase such that these stars change into bright solar system.”? We do some works in life as traditions and we should think about respecting some things. We preserve the tools and things which were used thousands of years ago in museums. And we take care of them. The reason goes back to the fact that these historical monuments show our identity and history. And our people see their history and identity in such objects, Saffar Harandi added. And it should be however appreciated. The extent of these side effects is very large. And grounds should be paved for making more films in this field. This film also helps preserving Islamic solidarity in one way. And in this respect it is an outstanding film.”? This Phoenix Plaque will be the first cinematic symbol in “Martyrs Museum”?. At this ceremony, the personnel of the film returned the cash award that Basheh Ahangar had presented to them to the director’s family.
