The Fighters who Became Martyrs in the Intersection of Death

Navideshahed: As I was looking at the frontiers, suddenly I remembered Hatef and Bojariyan. My body started to shake. My crying got intense. The war veterans had taken out their corpses from the debris and mud and they had wrapped them inside blankets near the rifle pits.

According to Fars News Agency Epic and Resistance Service, the events which took place among the war veterans during the Sacred Defense Era, although they were combined including the bitter and sweet ones, but they had a special lesson for us that grants life to the humans:

Ramadan month in 1984

Bustan Camp

Meisam Battalion- Army 27 of Hazrat Rasul (May God Send Greetings to Him)

Those war veterans who served in the division 3 liked doing mourning and religious affairs more than other divisions. Hussein Mustafaei was among those persons when he would start eulogizing, no one could stop his crying and tears. A new style of eulogy had been started in the Army and they would try to create a good voice that be followed with more sorrows.

When the Ramadan month would be started, the forces would urge the commanders more in order to allow them to fast; but in many cases they would receive negative responses. During the Ehya nights, the commanders would take the forces to the deserts close to the headquarters and the war veterans would mourn in the deserts and they would mention and cite the name of Ahl Beit (AS).

Unfortunately among them, there were some persons who had magnified others in order to take a mistake or error from them. The authorities of the propaganda for the Army who would consider themselves as the main chiefs, they criticized against the mourning of the war veteran. This objection had been expressed not only against our division, but also to the war veterans of other divisions in Khorramshahr as well. In that place there were some persons like Reza Pour Ahmad and Mahmoud Zholideh who were so active in this field and they would held magnificent mourning occasions.

The propagandists had criticized against this issue and they had told that why the forces are taken to the deserts to mourn and why you bereave until morning and you whisper the names of Ali and Ali?

Therefore most of the war veterans had been banned from expressing such words. All the war veterans criticized against this issue and as martyr Hussein Mustafaei says:

- Therefore if we don’t express the name of Ali at the 19th night of Ramadan month, so when should we express his name?
But those who had banned doing such mourning would not pay attention to this speech of him. By expressing such words, they would not be stopped at all!

Most of the days when one or two hours had been left to the sunsent, Ghareh Baghi and Shateri while they had a sack at their hands, they would go to the hills located so far away from the headquarters. One or two of the war veterans who would create mottos, they expressed some wrong judgments about them and despite of the criticism of the military group, they would say those bad words when they were away in front of other war veterans. The more we would discuss with them, they would be more serious about their work and they would express more worse words regarding this issue that where Shateri and Ghareh Baghi go and what they do? Ebadi, the authority of the military group quarreled with them due to this issue, but they expressed some bad words about him as well.

Since the words were so bad, we decided to determine their destiny. One day we followed them and we observed that they put their sacks on the ground and they opened a Koran book and they started reciting Koran verses. When we asked about the story, Shateri said: “I don’t know how I should recite Koran; that is why I feel shy. We come here everyday and Ghareh Baghi reads and recites Koran verses for me in order to teach me.”?

When the reality was found out, I had become so angry and I wanted to press the throat of those two or three persons who had expressed bad words against them.

February 1987

The Forked Road of Death ‘Shalamcheh’

The military operation ‘Karbala 5’

The battalion of Hazrat Hamzeh, Army 27 of Hazrat Rasul (May God send greetings to him)

We arrived to the end of Fish Lake and we got off our car. We had become so tired and disappointed. We started moving towards the camp. From the path close to the fish lake we looked at the frontiers for the last time. The only thing that we could see was a smoke and only smoke. The explosions of time rockets in the sky were so frightening for us.

I was crying and speaking in delirium. As I was looking at the frontiers, suddenly I remembered Hatef and Bojariyan. My body started to shake. My crying got intense. The war veterans had taken out their corpses from the debris and mud and they had wrapped them inside blankets near the rifle pits. It seemed that they themselves did not like their corpses to return home.

We walked so hardly and passed from the path. Each of the war veterans was saying something:

- Only two feet of Abul Hassani were left; a cannon shell directly hit him. I wrote his name on a piece of paper and I put inside his boots, so that if those two feet would be returned home, the authorities could distinguish whose body is that.
- A rocket hit to the side of Yosof and his skull was damaged.
- A bullet hit the mouth of Shateri…he stayed in that situation in a way that bloods filled his throat and he was suffocated. It seemed that he had been left too.

Shateri was a hairdresser. He was the one that before coming to Shalamcheh, she shove the beard of all the war veterans in order to weak the protective masks better. I was in the same military group during the summer of 1984 in Bostan camp and in Abuzar battalion. He was a guy from Varamin city. He was left as well.
