The First Palestinian Mother Longing for Martyrdom

According to Fars News Agency Epic and Resistance Group, the Wednesday January 14, 2004 is an unforgettable date in the history of Palestine; because on this day the 22-year-old Reem Saleh Al-Riyashi was martyred.

Reem was the first martyrdom seeking woman in Hamas Movement and Gaza strip.

Although Reem Saleh Al-Riyashi is the 7th martyrdom seeking woman of Palestine against Zionists, but due to the operations that she has launched she did something different in comparison to the similar military operations: Because she was the first mother who did not leave her husband and child by her martyrdom.

The little kid of Reem was only 18 months old at the time of her martyrdom. The name of Reem has been registered in a list that the names of brave and strong women of this land of Zeitun Vafa Adris, Darin Abu Ashiyeh, Ayatol Khers, Andelib Taghatagheh, Habeh Darghameh and Hanadi Jaradat has been mentioned.
