Cherry trees had just blossomed and the nature had put on new clothes. He came there in order to complete the celebration of flowers. Hussein was born in a poor and religious family in south of Tehran and he was grown up along with the singing Nightingales.

Each step that he would take towards the exiting era of adolescence and youth, the whispers of revolution would get louder and louder and gradually it was changed into an angry shouting. So in this field Hussein was really serious and he actively conducted many efforts for the revolution, its ambitions and the ambitions of Iranian nation.

When the Islamic Revolution was at its peak and moment of Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran, he became an active member of the Committee to Guard Imam Khomeini and he did an unexplainable struggle in occurrence of quiver victory for the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

After the victory of Islamic Revolution, he entered the Islamic Revolution Committee and after getting his diploma qualification, he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. The situation would get more catastrophic moment by moment. He went closer and he fired the tank that was attacking the Iranian war veterans. Haj Hussein shot down several Iraqi tanks and when Haji was strongly fighting against the tanks, the direct bullet of one of the tanks martyred Haji and made him to be the guest of God.

Some Short Stories regarding martyr Commander Haj Hussein Eskandarlu

New shoes!

When he was a little child, I bought new shows for him only once. When I gave the shoes to him, he looked at me so surprisingly and he said: “Mom, have you bought this pair of shoes for me? I said: yes, these shoes are for you. He wore them and he got out of the house. When he returned, I noticed his dusty shoes. I really got angry and I asked why he had made his shoes dusty? When I urged so much, he told me the reason and he said: Mom, I went to the local dusty football ground and I made my shoes dusty in order to prevent others notice that I have bought new shoes. You see I feel shy to wear new shoes.

The respectful mother of this martyr continued as follows: “Hussein was guy who would live so simply. Sometimes I had to take the clothes of relative children and to give to my own children. When I would ask Hussein to wear those clothes, he would wear them without any criticism.”?

Science and cultivation
He was a lover of book and studying and he would buy the most precious and valuable gifts for his friends. He would always say: If there was no war, I would go to university and I would continue my education.

When his friends would get married, or they would have children, he would buy a book of Al-Mizan in 30 volumes and he would give to them. When he would make them as gifts and he would put them on each other, the backside of the books would not been seen.

Haj Hussein would consider the books as tools of cultivation and he believed that anyone who benefits from them, he/she will be fortune.

The final smile

On the final day of his lifetime, all the persons had noticed the change of his appearance. The person who was always noisy among the persons and he would make others to laugh, he had become so silent and he would absorb the attentions of others as well. He would not eat his food completely and he would not talk with anyone too. It seemed that he had sat down there so hardly.

I told myself: Why Hussein has become like this? I went towards him several times and I talked with him in order to understand that reason. Even though he really loved me so much, but he said nothing in this field.

When we had gathered around a table clothing of my uncle, he laughed and he said: What is up dear Mr. Hussein? Why haven’t you eaten your food completely? If it has a reason, you can express it so that we can know it as well. The only reaction of him was a smile only.

Ambition of martyrdom

All the commanders gathered there the same as him and they made a commitment with Koran and they promised that they would fight until the last moment during that operation. Haj Hussein had stood in a corner the same as strangers and he was crying in tears.

I went towards him, I made him to raise his head and I said: Haji, please don’t cry. You should prevent the negligence. While his eyes had turned red due to intensity of crying, and he was chocked with tears and he said: “I’m here to fight. I would like to devote these several liters of blood that I have in my body because of Islam.”?

One of the commanders took me to a corner and he said: “Good for you that you have relationship with such war veterans, I really begrudge to your condition, because there is no difference between commander and obedient force.

Assistance

Both of us had been critically injured on their foot and we had been left from our forces. We passed a long distance by the assistance of each other and eventually we arrived to Ghazalcheh River. The water flow was so intensive and none of us were able to cross it. The air got dark and silence covered the entire war zone. We talked with each other until morning in order to avoid sleeping.

I told Haj Hussein: What should we do if the Iraqis if they find us? Hussein laughed and he said: I will move my white handkerchief over my head and I sing. You should think about yourself.

I laughed and I asked: what should I do? He said: Put your anger away. Sit on the ground and say: Please help me because of God satisfaction. I really get influenced by this sentence, maybe if you express this sentence to them, they will be influenced as well.

The trouble making photo

Haj Hussein would make jokes with me all the times and he would bother me. I went to a corner and I called him. He said: What is up Akbar? I showed a funny photo to him too and he was really surprised. I said: It will be really fantastic if this photo to be published and then to be distributed among the war veterans of our battalion.

He said: what should I do to prevent it from being fantastic and marvelous? He was supposed to take me to restaurant and pay my foods for eight times and each time that we go there, I cut off a piece of the photo and to give to him.

He took me to the restaurant several times, but I would cut around the photo and give to him.

Someday when he had received his salary, he came to me and he said: How much do you sell my photo? I said: Your photo is priceless. If you don’t want anyone to see this photo, you should continue taking me to the restaurant and pay the costs of my foods.
