Anti-regime protesters hold rally in Bahrain

Navideshahed- Pro-democracy Bahraini protesters have held a fresh demonstration against the Al Khalifa regime.

The demonstration was held in the village of Damestan late on Friday in solidarity with political prisoners.
The protesters were specifically calling for the release of Hassan al-Mushaima.
He was jailed for life over participating in demonstrations against the ruling Al Khalifah dynasty.
Bahrainis have been staging demonstrations since mid-February 2011, calling for political reforms and a constitutional monarchy, a demand that later changed to an outright call for the ouster of the Al Khalifa family following its brutal crackdown on popular protests.
Dozens of people have been killed in the crackdown, and security forces have arrested hundreds, including doctors and nurses.
