Imam Ali Desert Hospital Registered as National Monument of Sacred Defense

According to the reporter of Navideshahed from Khorramshahr; Colonel Pasdar Hossein Eshghi, Commander of Residence of Preserving Monuments and Lands of Sacred Defense in Khoozestan Province announced the above news and said: “This hospital which is located at 5 kilometer away from east of Abadan has been registered as national monument of sacred defense under the number of 122.”? Imam Ali Hospital was established in 1986 in order to support and providing services to Karbala 4 Operation. It started activities before this operation. This desert hospital is one of the most equipped and important desert hospitals during sacred defense. It was constructed by engineering department of Khatam-ol-anbia Residence. This hospital was managed by Border Health Center of Karbala Residence of Sepah (The Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution).”? Most of activities of Imam Ali Desert Hospital were in Karbala 4, 5, 8 and Beit-ol-moghaddas 7 operations as well as operations after accepting UN Resolution 598, he added. He further said: “The hospital was constructed on an area of 4,600 square meters and was equipped with 8 operation beds, recovery, surgery, emergency, radiology, ICU and chemical emergency wards. This desert hospital is used as a residence for “Rahian Nour”? Caravans at the present time.”? Following registering this hospital as national monument of sacred defense 25 monuments have been registered as national monuments of sacred defense by “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? by now, Colonel Pasdar Hossein Eshghi concluded.
