Commander Bagherzadeh : People’s Attention to Martyrs Is the Symbol of Continuity of Religion in Society

Their bodies were buried in Emamzadeh Akhound Molla Ali. According to the reporter of Navideshahed from Behbahan; bodies of martyrs were carried from Martyr Marahel Square in Behbahan City while reading Ziarat Arbaeen. Commander Mirfeysal Bagherzadeh, Head of “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? delivered speech at this ceremony and appreciated role of Behbahan City people during sacred defense period of time. He said: “Although the generation today didn’t have any role in establishing and stabilize Islamic Revolution and the epic of sacred defense, they have made a strong promise with martyrs to continue the way of Islamic Revolution.”? The main objectives of martyrs’ lives have been the same objective of Imam Hossein in the year 61 A.H. Imam Hossein’s first immigration from Medina to Mecca was for disproving untruth. And his second immigration from Mecca to Karbala was for establishing truth. And this concept is similar to our nation’s motto (No east, no west, Islamic Republic of Iran) and denying ruling of other powers to our country which meant disproving the untruth. And the second action which includes believing in ourselves and independence as well as scientific progresses and other achievements of Iranian nation which are in line with establishing the truth, Commander Bagherzadeh added. In continuation, he said: “The act of martyrs to fight with Saddam was denying untruth. And their return to the nation can be described as establishing the truth.”? Commander of “Committee of Searching for Lost Martyrs”? of “General Headquarters of Armed Forces”? further said: “The first funeral ceremonies for unknown martyrs were held while a large number of people and youth participated at these ceremonies. Innocent bodies of unknown martyrs have been buried in 700 places in the country. 70 other places in cities and universities are in the list for burying innocent bodies of martyrs.”? In conclusion, he said: “People’s attention to martyrs is the symbol of continuity of religion in society. And that is like the red Hosseini (Related to Imam Hossein) flag which is the symbol of honor of a nation.”?
