24 Monuments of Sacred Defense in Khoozestan Registered as National Monuments of Sacred Defense since Beginning of 1386 till Now

Colonel Pasdar Hossein Eshghi, Commander of “Base of Preserving Monuments and Lands of Sacred Defense in Khoozestan Province”? announced the above news to the reporter of Navideshahed and said: ““Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? commenced this activity by registering Great Mosque of Khorramshahr as national monuments of sacred defense of the country early this year (Late March 2007). The registered monuments are namely Former Administrative Building of Khorramshahr Port, Memorial of Unknown Martyrs of Valfajr 8 Operation, Shrine of Unknown Martyrs in Talaeeyeh, Cultural Center of Sacred Defense of Khorramshahr (War Museum of Khorramshahr), Old Bridge of Khorramshahr, Martyr Chamran Memorial in Dehlavieh, Karbala Quarters, Shalamcheh Unknown Martyrs Memorial, Lands of Sacred Defense in Talaeeyeh, Lands of Sacred Defense in Operation Region of Ramezan, Lands of Sacred Defense in Shalamcheh, Cemetery of Hoveyzeh Martyrs, Remains of Old Hoveyzeh City, Desert Hospital of Imam Hasan Mojtaba, Desert Hospital of Imam Hossein, Central Headquarters of Meraj Shohada in Ahvaz (SEPANTA), Lands of Sacred Defense in Fakkeh, Lands of Sacred Defense of Fat’h-ol-mobin Operation, Desert Hospital of Imam Reza, Jihad Sazandehgi Headquarters in Ahvaz, Dokouheh Garrison, Memorial of Martyrs of Chazzabeh Strait and Buildings of Oil Company (Barim of Abadan).”? These monuments have been registered following efforts of Head of “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”? after a 3- year programmed period of time, he added. In conclusion, Eshghi said: “Registering monuments and memorials of sacred defense in Khoozestan Province still continues according to the plans.”?
