Nowadays, writers try to make their writings more attractive by communicating with the youth generation and paying attention to what they want. What are obstacles and damages that this field of literature faces? - Repetition, mottos, being cliché and denying truths of war are problems of this literature. Not everyone can write in this field. It requires inner belief. As for one of the problems, I ca refer to lack of investment on good and artistic works as well as writers in this field. Good short stories and novels are not published for the second time. Only a few of them are published for the second time and it is a considerable issue. Writers receive a little amount of wage while large amount of expenses are spent for producing films, films and serials in particular which are not worth to spend time and watch. And this is while writers receive a little amount of wage. And it should be noticed by respected officials. We should know the fact that no film will be produced if there is no story behind it. Still there are committed writers who have written valuable books. They did not notice to the price, delay in publishing the book, no publishing for second time and similar problems. They started to writer a story or novel based on their personal motivation and inner and heartfelt interest in war. And they did not benefit financially. “Foundation for Preservation of Monuments and Dissemination of Values of Sacred Defense”?, “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”?, “Islamic Revolution Documents Center”? and other governmental organizations should publish and distribute such books in a wide scale. Books of all sacred defense writers are meant; not a particular number of books and particular writers; because sacred defense field is not a private field in which benefits of party oriented games are concerned. How is the place of our war literature compared to resistance literature of other countries of the world? - We have not succeeded to achieve and exemplary place compared to literature of other countries of the world (War and Peace). The reason goes back to the fact that writers do not study precisely and deeply; while they study and conduct researches in many fields such as humanities, psychology, sociology, history, mysticism and even religious issues. The more information a writer has the deeper and more attractive his work is. Comparing recent decades after our Islamic Revolution, we come to the result that works written in second decade are not as hurried as the first decade. And better works can be created through passing time and having more precise and deeper look at the subject. Now that we are in third decade after war, stronger works are presented. How do you see the perspective of literature in the field of isar (Self sacrifice) and martyrdom in future? - Sacred defense literature was formed following victory of Islamic Revolution. We had not enjoyed out victory that imposed war began. And we entered sacred defense literature. Then writer presented works in this field; and they were weak and full of mottos due to the situation at that time. War literature had a growing movement during the second decade of Islamic Revolution. And it is continuing now. Writers will progress more if they are supported. What is your opinion regarding the prize of selecting the sacred defense book of the year by people? -It is a good idea in case books are received by people on time, they study them and their views are applied; but it is a useless work if it changes into a formal act and merely carries the name of people.
