In 3rd national Congress of Commemoration of the War Wounded: Granting Self Sacrifice and Martyrdom Medal by the President

The president and a number of state officials attend the congress. Quoting the deputy head of “Research and Cultural Relations Department”? “Shahed cultural Information web Site”? reported: The 3rd International Congress of Commemoration of the War Wounded is held with the presence of a number of ministers and members of the parliament as well as cultural and social officials in Tehran. In this congress 19 war wounded are honored and 21 are granted with self sacrifice medal and 2 others are granted with braveness medal. They are honored and granted with medals as the representatives of the war wounded people.”? Mr. Khamehyar added: “In addition to holding the International Congress of Commemoration of the War Wounded, the big exhibition of self sacrifice art is held with the presence of artists in three categories. They are namely photo with the subject of “Khorramshahr”?, painting with the subject of “A Window to Heaven Garden”? (including 120 precious paintings) and conceptual art (including 30 art works). The exhibition is inaugurated in “Saba Cultural and Art Institution and will be open to visitors up to June 15, 2007.”? Other activities which are carried out on the occasion of May 24th as quoting Dr Khamehyar are as follows: Holding a Memory Night with the subject of “Khorramshahr”?, performing the theatre named “Kakouti”? in “Khorram Shahr”? and “Abadan”? for 6 days, publishing the book of “The Bests”? special for those honored at the “3rd International Congress of Commemoration of the War Wounded”?, publishing different articles with the subject of “Khorram Shahr”? and the 3rd International Congress of Commemoration of the War Wounded, publishing the electronic edition of the Comprehensive Book of “Khorramshahr”? and The Story of Commanders, publishing the book of articles regarding “Khorramshahr”? named: “Khorram Shahr, Resistance Castle and National Unity”?. The new volumes of Shahed magazines (Shahed Javan, Shahed Nojavan, Shahed Koudak and Shahed Yaran) focused on the national day of “Resistance, self Sacrifice and Victory”? on the occasion of May 24th.
