Sardasht Was the First City of the World that Was Victimized By Chemical Weapons
The governor of Sardasht city on the sidelines of OPCW Experts Investigations said: “Sardasht is the first city of the world that was targeted by chemical warfare.”
According to the reporter of Chemical Weapons Victims Information Base from Sardasht city, “Inviting the foreign experts is a two month process and the Inspection team from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has come to Iran based on the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, Kazemi added.
He pointed out to this issue that during the Iran-Iraq war, most of the western countries supported the Iraqi Baathist regime and he mentioned: “The support of western countries included military, munitions, logistic and weaponries supports.”
Kazemi regarding the country that was the producer of current unexploded bomb found in Sardasht city said: “After ground investigation of OPCW experts the detection of the country that has been the producer of the chemical bomb will be possible and after that the false propaganda of west regarding fighting against terrorism will be revealed. As a result Iran’s innocence will be proved to the world as well.”
