Head of Iran’s Martyrs Foundation Offers Condolences on Passing of Father of Three Martyrs
The Vice President and Head of Iran’s Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, Seyed Ahmad Mousavi, extended condolences on the passing of Haj Ahmad Pourzand, the father of the esteemed martyrs Sirus, Iraj, and Shahin Pourzand.
According to Navid Shahed, the message reads as follows:
“In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Indeed we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
Respected family of the honorable Pourzand martyrs,
Peace be upon you,
Honorable fathers who, in pursuit of divine satisfaction, sacrificed their most precious assets and offered their beloved children in the path of serving Islam and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic are shining examples of devotion and outstanding models of perseverance and self‑sacrifice.
The late Haj Ahmad Pourzand, father of the distinguished martyrs Sirus, Iraj, and Shahin Pourzand, after years of patience and endurance, answered the call of the Truth and hastened toward his Creator.
I extend my salutations to the soul of the departed and to the radiant spirits of his martyred sons. While expressing my condolences and sympathy to the respected family, I pray to Almighty God to grant the departed the highest ranks and to bestow patience and forbearance upon the bereaved. God willing, the exalted soul of the late Pourzand will be resurrected alongside the Master of Martyrs in the highest stations of the divine presence.”
