He invoked the memory of Mohammed al-Durrah, the 12-year-old Palestinian boy killed by Israeli forces, as a symbol of the urgent need for organized youth activism and civil resistance.

“We must remember Mohammed al-Durrah,” Hana said. “And transform our grief into coordinated youth movements, truth documentation, and civil campaigns such as boycotts, divestment, and economic pressure against the occupying regime.”
Building a Global Youth Coalition for Palestine
Hana proposed the creation of a Global Youth Coalition for Palestine, aimed at synchronizing educational campaigns, digital engagement strategies, and training programs to empower young activists in countering misinformation and advocating for justice.
He stressed the importance of investing in trauma-informed education and psychosocial support for children affected by conflict, as well as mobilizing youth-led media and volunteer initiatives to break the silence surrounding Israeli aggression.
“Violence and blockade only lead to the loss of children and the destruction of their future,” he warned.
Resistance Through Memory and Action
Hana concluded by underscoring the power of remembrance as a form of resistance. He urged that international conferences in support of Palestinian resistance must result in concrete, ongoing initiatives—not just slogans and commemorations.
“To remember is to resist,” he said. “Let our gatherings lead to action, not just memorials.
