According to chemical-victims.com, there is an interesting memory regarding martyr chemically injured patient ‘Ayub Bolandi’ based on the narration of his spouse below:
Though Ayub was a victim of chemical warfare, but he never liked to stop helping and assisting to his fellowmen. Someday he came back home and he said: "I want to get a ticket and to go to Esfahan province…” I said: "Why have you decided to go to Esfahan province?”
He said: "In the newspaper I read that a Mrs. who has four children suffers from kidney problems and she has requested people to donate kidney to her. Therefore I must go to Esfahan to donate one of my kidneys to her. I told him: "Dear Ayub! You yourself are a 70 % chemically injured patient, you have thousands of problems, how do you want to do such a work?” but he did not accept my words, but eventually the doctors did not allow him to do that work due to his chemical injury.”
