Martyr Motahari and the Issue of Palestine

If the Prophet was alive, what would he do today? What issue would he think about? I really swear to God that today the prophet of Islam is shaking in his sacred grave due to the activities of Jewish. It is an issue of two multiplies two which equals to four. If someone does not say that he has committed a sin, if I do not say it, I swear to God that I have committed a sin, any lecturer or preacher does not say it, he/she has committed a sin. Regardless its Islamic aspect, what is the history of Palestine? The issue of Palestine is not related to a government of Islamic governments, it is related to a nation, a nation which has been forcefully pushed away form their home…

I swear to God that we are responsible against this issue. I really swear to God that we are responsible in this field. I can strongly confirm that the issue that today has made the heart of the prophet of God to ache is this issue. The story which has made the heart of Hussein Ebn Ali to ache is this matter. If we want to value ourselves, if we want to value mourning of Hussein Ebn Ali, we must think that if Hussein Ebn Ali was alive today and he would say to mourn for me himself, what mottos would he ask us to chant? Would he say to express: “My teenager Akbar, or he would ask you to say: “good bye my distress Zeinab”?, what I (Imam Hussein) did not value them in my lifetime, in fact such mottos were so humble and unfair and I did not express even one words like this?! If today Hussein Ebn Ali was alive, he would say if you want to mourn for me, if you want to bereave for me today, you must have the motto of Palestine today. Today Shemr is Moshe Dayan. Shemr passed away 1300 years ago, you should know today’s Shemr. Today the doors and walls of this land could be shaken by the mottos of Palestine. They expressed many lies in our minds that this is only a domestic issue and it is related to Arabs and Israel.”?

…as Abdol Rahman Faramarzi says, if it is for them and there is no religion, why the other Jewish of the world send money to them continuously? What will be our reply in front of Islam and the prophet of God? Didn’t you read in the newspaper a few days ago that in the last year the Jewish people of all around the world, not the Jewish that have the ID cards of Israel, sent 5000 millions of dollars to them to buy phantoms by these moneys and to drop bombs on the Muslims.

I have heard that the Jewish people of Iran have sent the money of two phantoms to them. About $ 36 million were sent to them by the Iranian Jewish, I don’t blame these Jewish because they are only Jewish, we must blame ourselves, they have helped their fellow men, they send money to them proudly, its receipt is received from Moshe Dayan and they show it in the market as well, they say common come here and see its receipt. Didn’t you write 2 or 3 nights ago (I have its cutting piece from the Intelligence), right now only the Jewish living in the United States of America send at least $ 1 million to Israel?!

Now what has been our effort in this field? I really swear to God that it is shameful if we want to consider ourselves as Muslims and to consider ourselves as the Shiites of Ali Ebn Abitaleb. I should say after expression of this story regarding Ali Ebn Abitaleb, it will be unlawful if we mention it once again that someday Ali Ebn Abitaleb heard, the enemy has attacked an Islamic country; after that he said that I have heard the Zeinab as a Muslim woman or the woman which has been under the support of Muslims has been captured. I have heard that the enemy has robbed the lands of Muslims, it has killed its men and arrested some of them and has raped its women and it has removed the jewelries and golds from their ears and hands. After that this Ali Ebn Abitaleb (AS) that we mention we are the Shiites of him, show some false and wrong sensations in this field and he said: “If a Muslim man to die from hectic fever, it is worthy and he should not be blamed.”?

Don’t we have a duty to help them financially? Aren’t they Muslims, don’t they have beloved ones? Don’t they make uprising to achieve their legal rights? Who can reject this issue that today the Palestinians are refugees don’t have the right to return to their homelands? I saw some of them when I had tripped to Mecca. Some of the youths would only say: “We only have hope to the blood of our martyrs.”? I can say that there are some people among them that I can swear to God that they need the money for buying their clothes and they have not fight with naked bodies.

If the each of the 700 million population of the world each pay one Rials per day, it will be about 300 milliards dollars per year. If the people of Iran who are 25 million persons and 98 persons of them are the Muslims each person to pay one Rials to the Palestinians per day, it will be about 90 million Tomans annually. If one tenth of the Muslims to pay one Rials per day to the Palestinians, it will be 9 million Tomans annually.

We can help them by the properties that we have. I really swear to God that this assistance is necessary and it is obligatory like praying God and having fast. The first question that after our death is asked from us is that what we have done in the field of solidarity with Muslims? The prophet said: “If a Muslim to hear that another Muslim is shouting and asking for help, but the other Muslim does not help him, that person is not Muslim anymore. I don’t consider him Muslim anymore. What will be the meaning of these percepts for us? What will happen if we devote a little part of our revenue for other Muslims? Why the Jewish people of the world should help their fellow men even the Jewish from Iran and the other nations to encourage them and to say good, great, well done, but we do not do that? The awakened people are those persons who be opportunists understand the pains and know the realities.”?

I have done my own duty. My duty was only saying and God knows that, I think I did it under the pressure of my conscience. I think this financial help is a duty of you. I consider my own duty expressing these words and sermons and I think it is obligatory to any preacher to express these issues. I thought it was my duty to express these realities to you. I think it is really necessary that other preachers to express these realities as well. Some great sources of imitation such as Ayatollah Hakim and others have officially proclaimed that the person who is killed in this land is martyr although that person has not performed his prayer at all. So we should value ourselves, we should value to the work and thought of ourselves, we should value our own books, we should value our own moneys, we must make ourselves a decent nation among the nations of the world. The reason of this issue that the superpowers of the world do not think about our density so much is that they think that the Muslims of the world do not have zeal. This issue has made the United States of America so cruel in this field. They claim that the Muslims do not have zeal, solidarity and sympathy.

They say that Jewish people who die for money, know nothing except money, money is their God, their lives is money, their living and everything is money, they conclude that they should help their fellow men at leas by $ one Million per day, but 700 Millions of Muslims do not do the smallest helps to their fellow men….
