On a day before the Islamic Revolution, Seyed Ahmad Hussein Zadeh Hejazi went to Mecca along with Hojjat Ol Eslam Ghafari in order to visit the house of God. A night before Ablution called (Rami Jamarat), Seyed Ahmad asked Mr. Ghafari to give him a photo of Iran’s Shah and after a little searching they notice that there is a photo of Shah installed on the wall of the reference room in Endowments Administration. Mr. Ghafari tried to dissuade him; because the photo had been installed in a place where SAVAK forces were there. Eventually by entertaining the guards, they were able to pick the photo.

At that night, Seyed Ahmad installed the photo on Rami Jamarat and on the pillar of devil. It was the place where the pilgrims would throw stones towards the devil.

Mr. Ghafari said: “The real place of this photo is here not on the wall of Endowments Administration.”?

On that day, the image of Shah became a familiar image for the Iranian pilgrims of Rami Jamarat.
