The Last Moments of Martyr Vezvaei

According to Fars News Agency Sacrifice and Martyrdom correspondent, he was born on July 29, 1960 in Tehran city and he was martyred in 1982 with the post of deputy of the brigade of Mohammad Rasul Allah (May God send greetings to him). He was martyred during the military operation ‘Beitol Moghadas’ and his body was buried in the piece 26 of cemetery.

Martyr Mohsen Vozaraei who had performed many sacrifices in the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war specially in Bazi Derza and Bazi Khordeh mountains was a university of chemistry from Sharif Industrial University. He had a complete knowledge regarding Islam. This young myth was martyred eventually after taking part in different military operations including the military operation ‘Beitol Moghadas’ when he was directing his forces. Indeed a bullet hit his body and he was martyred. The following text is a narration regarding the final moments of this divine man:
- Dear Masoud, please pay attention…Your forces must move in distances and they should be stationed in the left side of the road and even one force must not move in the right side of the road. As you know there is no shelter in the right side of the road for forces, did you hear what I said?
It was ten o’clock in the morning that the fear of advancing of about 112 tanks from 3 armored armies from enemy moved towards the southern side of Garmdasht station and indeed they were moving towards the battalions of Meghdad and Meisam. Mohsen Vozaraei personally led the operation of these two battalions on the Ahvaz-Khorramshahr road.


Mohsen had stood on a road that its forces would fight without any rifle pit and he would shout in a way that his voice had gotten a rasping voice; He would coordinate with many battalions which would be commanded by him specially those involved in Muharram military operation and with a serious voice said: “To all units, to all units! All of you must advance so quickly… Allah O Akbar (God is great)”?

When the fires were intensified, the western side of Karoon River was shaking and regular fires of more than tens of cannons, hundreds of modern tanks and other weapons including mortars were launched on the involving war zone. The helicopters that had been equipped with tanks made in Russia and France of the enemy Air Force, third Corps also came in the sky and they were shooting towards the Iranians who had light weaponries and they targeted them so badly. At this moment, the forces of Meisam Tamar battalion under the commandership of Abbas Shaf, the old comrade of Mohsen went to the place that was close to the headquarters of forces.

Mohsen had stood on the road in which the forces were fighting without any shelter and he was fighting in the western side of the road and he was shouting in a way that it seemed his voice was a rasping voice. He was so worried and he would say: “Brothers, come behind the road, at least by this condition you won’t be bothered so much.”? Abbas Shaf reached to Mohsen and he hugged him. They hugged each other under the heavy fire of enemy for a few minutes. Still they had not separated for a big distance that suddenly a dreadful explosion occurred near Mohsen and then…

When Abbas arrived near Mohsen, he observed that he and his second deputy Hussein Taghavi Manesh and the wireless man had been martyred simultaneously. After that he opened the black muffler that was around the neck of Mohsen and he wrapped the face of this martyr with that as it was full of dust and he picked the wireless receiver.
