A Martyr's Condition for his Corpse Home Return

Mohammad Ali Asgari the elder brother of martyr Akbar Asgari in an exclusive interview with Sacrifice and Martyrdom Reporter of Fars News Agency declared: “Akbar was born in the mid of Sha’ban (eighth lunar month of the Arabic Calendar) in 1971; my father was martyred in 1985 in Fav war zone. My brother Akbar was 14 years old at the time; after martyrdom of my father, Akbar struggled so much in order to be dispatched to the battlefields.”?

He continued: “One year after martyrdom of my father, Akbar was able to get the permission to go to the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war and since his designing and calligraphy was good, he started his activities in the Propaganda Unit of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.”?
Asgari added: “My brother had a notebook for the purpose of writing his notes and he would write his daily activities in this notebook every night. He was a real worshipper of God and he would try not to commit even one sin; he really liked to perform his prayer on time. For example when he was a guest somewhere, when he would hear the sound of calling for prayer, he would apologize all the persons and he would perform his prayer on time.”?

The brother of recently searched martyr ‘Akbar Asgari’ stated: “My mother told us that once she had sent hat the light of stairs was on, she moved towards the stairs, she had observed that Akbar was writing in his notebook ‘God, forgive me that I looked into my mother’s eyes directly’.”?

He notified: “Akbar was dispatched to the battlefields of Iran-Iraq war in 1987; for the second time he was dispatched to the war in the mid of Sha’ban in 1988; it was exactly the year that Akbar’s body was lost according to the sayings of his comrades. On April 17, 1988 the list of missing martyrs was announced. More than 80 bodies of the martyrs from Khomeini Shahr had been missed and the body of Akbar was in the list as well.”?

Asgari stated that the mother of martyr passed away after 10 months passing from hearing the martyrdom news of her brother and he said: “Two brothers of her had been martyred in the Sacred Defense Era as well; during the years that she waited for the body of Akbar to return, she prayed a lot and she really liked her son’s body to return; she had a special and excellent morale and many of the martyrs families whose their sons bodies had been missed would consider my mom as a model of patience.”?

He also pointed out to the recent return of many martyrs of the Sacred Defense Era and he stated: “A few days ago we were informed that my brother had been injured in the military operation of Fav Siege and he had been captured by the Iraqi Baathist forces; He had been martyred in Iraqi prisons and his body had been buried in Al-Kab graveyard; eventually the body of Akbar was returned to country after 24 years exchange of martyred bodies between Iran and Iraq.”?

This brother of martyr also expresses a memory regarding the emphasis of Akbar Asgari for missing his body and he said: “After martyrdom of my father, since Akbar had a good calligraphy, he had written ‘Missing Martyr Akbar Asgari son of martyr Rajab Ali Asgari’. He really liked martyrdom so much and he did not wish his body to return and he mentioned this sentence several times; when we criticized against this issue, he said: “I don’t wish my body to return, because if it returns then the responsibility of people will be heavy towards me, because they have to hold a funeral procession for my body.”?

“When today the corpse of martyr Asgari returned home after 24 years, for sure it has a message for us, youths and people and it is that we must always be the followers of Islamic Guardianship and Islam and to guard the blood of martyrs," he added.
