The Martyr who had Predicted his Martyrdom

I said: “Haji you have made a bulletin board!”? he laughed and he said: “I know that when we go to the frontiers, we won’t return and we will stay there”?. Later when the other forces came there to collect the bodies of martyrs, they identified his body and I noticed that his prediction had been true.

According to Fars News Agency's sacrifice and martyrdom correspondent, while the enemy engineering units were making earthwork with a distance of 500 meters in the war zone ‘Karbala 5’ and they had created 7 to 10 defensive lines, another operation plan was put in the agenda of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. They wanted to capture the war zone and get close to the Zoji canal.

So this military operation took place in 1987 under the name ‘Karbala 8’ and with the secret code ‘Ya Saheb Al-Zaman’. Two operations headquarters with forces equal to 30 battalions got involved in the military operation from two strips and despite of breaking the enemy lines, they were not able to stabilize the new situation.

During this military operation, the Iraqi Baathist enemy deployed artillery missiles and different types of chemical weapons including cyanide in order to prevent the advancement of Iranian forces and the Iranian forces had to retreat.

During the commemoration time for the martyrs of this operation ‘Mohammad Reza Fazeli Doost’ who was an authority for telecommunication center of the martyrdom battalion 27 of Mohammad Rasul Allah in an exclusive interview with the reporter of Fars News Agency narrated a memory regarding martyr Ali Asghar Arsanjani as follows: “It was the second day of the military operation ‘Karbala 8’ and Haj Mohammad Esmael Kosari came to the war zones; All the battalion commanders gathered in the salon for the purpose of reviewing the final movements, programs and maps; martyr Ali Asghar Arsanjani, the commander of battalion ‘Meisam Tamar’ from the Army 27 of Mohammad Rasul Allah (Peace be upon him) was among the commanders as well.

When we wanted to get out of salon, I observed that martyr Arsanjani had written his name and his specifications on two of his packets and behind his shirt and his trouser packet.
