Martyr Avini is not Fully Understood yet

Kosar Avini, the daughter of martyr Avini regarding the remembrance of martyr Avini told Iranian Student’s News Agency (ISNA), unfortunately all the things are restricted to the martyrdom anniversary only and in most of these commemorations, some repeated words are expressed. Also some declarations and words are mentioned which are not related to the characteristics of my father and his thoughts at all. Most of the lecturers who give speech in the commemorations, they talk about the martyr Avini that they imagine in their own minds. Unfortunately most of them have not read even one sentence of his texts.

She said: “The most important characteristic that martyr Avini had was that he would not pay attention to the side issues at all and he would always try to search the realities.”?

The daughter of martyr Avini also regarding the change of her father’s martyrdom date for a day said: “I think that the authorities think that the commemorations of calendar are the same as pieces of a puzzle and that they can be fixed in a way that they seem to be so interesting.”?

She also pointed out to this issue that if martyr Avini was alive today, he would act in the field of architecture and she added: “At the end of 1992, my father showed many interests in the field of architecture. He was an architect. But if we leave these guessing and imaginations, the birthday and martyrdom dates of humans themselves express some realities; as a result imaging that if he was alive and predicting what would he do in 2012 if he was alive is something impossible for me.”?

Today is the 19th martyrdom anniversary of Seyed Mortaza Avini. The martyrdom of this journalist and documentary filmmaker took place in 1993 in one of the war zones locate din Fakeh while he was filming. After that Seyed Mortaza became as a model for the public. In fact he was a real model for committed art in the value seeking community.
