The Documentary Film of “Ascension”? Narrates the Biography of “Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi”?

In an interview with Navideshahed; Nasser Dehqani Poudeh, the Managing Director of “Shahed Cultural Institution”? announced the above news and said: “More than half of this film has been made as a narrative film. And the rest of the film has been made as a documentary film. This film has been made to be broadcast as two 25 minute programs.”?
Dehqani Poudeh further referred to the subject of this documentary film and said: “The documentary film of “Ascension”? pictures the biography of “Martyr Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi symbolically. The story of life of this martyr since childhood, teenage time, adulthood as well as carrying out revolutionary activities, attending classes of Imam Khomeini, the period of time being imprisoned and exiled, etc. are pictured in this documentary film.”?
In continuation, he said: “The film has been recorded in different locations in northern cities of the country and also Kerman, Kashan, Qom and Tehran.”?
Managing Director of “Shahed Cultural Institution”? further referred to the importance of this documentary film and said: “In addition to narrating the life of “Martyr Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi”?, this documentary film contains interviews conducted with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader, Mohammad Yazdi, Head of Professors Society of “Hozeh Elmieh of Qom”?, Ayatollah Sayed Hassan Taheri Khoram Abadi, one of the professors of “Hozeh Elmieh of Qom”?, etc. regarding this martyr.”?
In conclusion, Dehqani Poudeh mentioned the names of the film crew and said: “Hamid Zargar-nejad has directed the film. Reza Maghsoudi has been the cameraman and Mohammad Arzani recorded the sound of the film. Manouchehr Fazli has been the producer and Mohammad-esmaeel Rezaee was the quality supervisor of the film. The documentary film of “Ascension”? will be broadcast from TV in the near future.”?

Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi was born in a religious family in Qom City in 1934. Since he was born on the birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi, his father named him “Mohammad Mahdi”?. Following finishing primary school, Ayatollah Amlashi entered “Hozeh Elmieh of Qom”?; because he was interested in religious lessons and his father also encouraged him to continue education in a religious school. His father was worried about continuing education in modern schools.
Following the beginning of the great historical movement of Hazrat Imam Khomeini in 1963 and flourishing the holy movement that resulted in victory of Islamic Revolution on February 10th, 1979, Ayatollah Amlashi made continuous efforts in this regard. He completed carefully any mission that he was entrusted to. During the bloody fights of clergymen during the cruel Regime of Shah, he was arrested by SAVAC forces several times (SAVAC was the intelligence service before Islamic Revolution). And he was imprisoned by these forces several times; but he never gave up and did not lose his spirit of resistance due to being imprisoned and exiled.
He was one of the people who tolerated a long time in prisons and exile and lots of suffering and tortures in the way of fighting and opposing with the Shah Regime. By resisting and tolerating, he was actively present in this movement till victory of Islamic Revolution.
Due to widespread activities carried out in “Hozeh Elmieh of Qom”? in 1975, SAVAC arrested and exiled 25 professors of “Hozeh Elmieh of Qom”?. And Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi was one of these 25 professors. He spent three years in exile out of which 11 months were spent in Ferdos. And following the start of the second phase of Islamic Revolution in 1977, he was one of the active and fighter people in this period of time.
As for some of the positions of this martyr after the victory of Islamic Revolution, we can refer to the followings: “The Representative in Khobregan Majles of the Constitutional Law”?, “Head of The First Branch of the Supreme Court”?, “A Member of Cultural Revolution Headquarters”?, “A Member of Judiciary Supreme Council”?, “General Public Prosecutor”?, “A Member of Guardians Council”?, “A Member of Khobregan Majles of Leadership from Khorassan Province”? and “A Member of Board of Directors of This Council”? as well as “The Representative of Hazrat Imam Khomeini in Gilan District”?.
After years of carrying out activities and making sincere efforts in the way of Islam, Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi was finally martyred in the morning of Monday, July 7th, 1985. He passed away due to a suffering sickness that had been caused by the enemies of Islam and the Islamic Revolution. He was 51 years old when he was martyred.
Following a funeral procession in Tehran and Qom cities, the innocent body of Ayatollah Rabbani Amlashi was buried in the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh in Qom. His innocent body was buried next to respected martyrs such as Martyr Mahallati, Martyr Abbas Shirazi, Martyr Mohammad Montazeri and other martyrs.
