Art Works of Iranian War Wounded Artists Will Be Exhibited in China and Bulgaria

TEHRAN, (SCIB) – On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran, the art works of seven Iranian war wounded artists will be exhibited in China and Bulgaria.

According to the reporter of Navideshahed; Mohammad-esmaeel Rezaee, General Director of Arts and Play Affairs of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? announced the above news and said: “On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution and aiming at introducing art works of Iranian war wounded artists to different countries, these war wounded artists will be dispatched to China and Bulgaria within an interaction with the Organization of Islamic Culture and Relations.”?
As for the time of their trips, he said: “Kamal Jahan-shahi in the field of “Monabbat”? (The art of carving wood in a beautiful artistic form and creating patterns on wood), Ahmadali Zand in the field of “Engraving”?, Ghassem Bakhshi in the field of “Painting- Calligraphy”? will travel to Bulgaria on February 5th, 2009 in order to held the exhibition there.”?
In continuation, Rezaee said: “Mr Abbas Niazi in the field of “Engraving”?, Mr Gholam-ali Etminan in the field of “Khatam Sazi”? (The art of creating inlaid wooden objects), Alireza Sarbaz in the field of “Soukhteh Kari”? (The art of creating burning patterns on wood”? and Saeed-reza Kamrani in the field of “Moshabak and Nastaleegh”? (Moshabak is the art of forming metal into nets and nastaleegh is a style in calligraphy) will travel to China on February 15th, 2009 in order to held the exhibition there.”?
It should be mentioned that the selected art works of these artists which are in international level have been exhibited in some foreign exhibitions such as an exhibition in Algeria Country. These art works have been also exhibited in domestic exhibitions held in different provinces such as Tehran, Gorgan, Gilan and Khorassan Razavi. These artists have also held some individual exhibitions too.
