Advertising and Information Dissemination for Theatre Festival of Self Sacrifice Were Not Sufficient

In an interview with Navideshahed reporter; Saeb Haeri-zadeh, the actor of the Play “Kakouti”? who won the prize of “The Best Actor”? in Nationwide Theatre Festival of Self Sacrifice spoke about the presence of “Kakouti”? in this festival and said: “We participated in Nationwide Theatre Festival of Sacred Defense in Sanandaj with this play for the first time. We later participated in Regional Theatre Festival of Self Sacrifice in Fars Province. And we won the first prize in this festival. And I was ranked second as “The Best Actor”? in that festival.”?
As for the level of holding this festival, Haeri-zadeh said: “Contrary to other theatre festivals in the field of sacred defense, there were good and high quality theatres in this festival. And strong actors/actresses and theatres groups had participated in this festival.”?
He further spoke about the problems in playing these theatres and said: “Due to a mistake made in announcing the names of halls, a very small and unsuitable stage was provided to us. And despite all problems, we had to play the theatre in that small stage. And I did not believe to be successful; because I was not satisfied with playing my role.”?
As for weak and strong points of this festival, he said: “As for strong points, I can refer to good plays participating in this festival contrary to other festivals in the fields of sacred defense and also providing suitable facilities for performances. And as for the weak points, I can refer to lack of advertising and information dissemination regarding the festival.”?
The actor in the Play “Kakouti”? further said: “The efforts of all members of the theatre group, the help of my wife and supports of Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs in Yazd Province contributed to my success in this play.”?
In conclusion, Haeri-zadeh said: “I believe that artists need spiritual and materialistic supports for carrying out more activities. And these supports will encourage them and cause them to concentrate on their work more than before.”?
It should be mentioned that “Kakouti”? was announced as the selected play in this festival. “Kakouti”?, “The Game”? and “Chehelsotoun”? have been selected by the jury of Nationwide Theatre Festival of Self Sacrifice to be introduced to participate in Fajr International Theatre Festival.
The First Nationwide Theatre Festival of Self Sacrifice was held in Tehran since December 21st to December 25th, 2008. General Administration of Art and Play Affairs of “Martyr Foundation and Isargaran Affairs”? held this festival.
