The Martyrdom and Self Sacrifice Journalists Are Hold to Acclaim

Quoting IQNA, Navideshahed reported that the art and culture assistant manager of the general office of the Islamic Guidance and Culture of Qazvin Province has explained the aims and programs of the press festival and said: All our efforts in the Press house and organization are directed toward holding a festival which is worthy of the press and the journalists and this only possible when the organizations, that are conducting such mission, cooperate together. One of these co – operations is appreciating the works of the Martyrdom and Self Sacrifice Journalists which is to be done by The Foundation of the Martyrs' and Veterans' Affair in the province.
In continuation, Saeed Mehdi Shahrvash the managing director of the Qazvin branch of the Foundation of the Martyrs' and Veterans' Affair said: We believe in cooperation with the press and our performance has attested our claim but unfortunately the issues of martyrdom and veterans are less discussed in our local press.
He added martyrdom and self sacrifice issues and subjects are the best issues and topics and the journalists can take advantage of them in order to promote the culture martyrdom and self – sacrifice.
The managing director of the Qazvin branch of the Foundation of the Martyrs' and Veterans' Affair stated that: martyrdom and self sacrifice issues and subjects are the best issues and topics by the use of which the journalists can promote the culture martyrdom and self – sacrifice throughout the society.
Shahrvash said: Qazvin branch of the Foundation of the Martyrs' and Veterans' Affair as the first province in the country to hold such a festival to appreciate the works of the journalists in the fields of Martyrdom and generosity and thus showing its high concern to the valuable time of the press and the journalists and it is now the duty of the journalists to pay their tributes to the martyrs and veterans.
In addition to presenting a report about the appreciation and participation of the journalists in this festival, in the end Hasan Hasan Zadeh the executive spokesman of the Qazvin Press Festival added: according to the latest statistics 600 works from 200 journalists have been received by the secretariat of the festival and about 10% of them are about martyrdom and self – sacrifice.
