An interview with martyr Ali Zakeri's friend in the sacred defense who was martyred some days ago.

Ali Zakeri was the symbol of courage and Issar

We were in a group. We knew each other's ID card information. For example, I knew Mr. Zakeri's ID card and we could identify each other if needed. We were completely ready for martyrdom and had no fear from war.

Navideshahed – Here is an interview with Esmaeil Ranjbar, martyr Ali Zakeri's friend, who was his old friend and had a very close relationship with each other.

When did you know him?

It was spring and I saw Ali for the first time on 1982. He had joined IRGC Television Group in the war region and I was a driver that time. We worked in the war propaganda part. We had close relationship with each other.

Did he enjoy from the war propaganda part?

At first he had joined us to work at the security section and after a time when he got familiar with the war propaganda part, decided to play the role in that section. We spent our time at the fore front and took photos and videos for the Sari Broad casting center. He injured several times during different operations.

Did he move back to the fore front after his injury again?

We were in the sacred defense with the start of every operation. We were 2 groups…one of them remained at the station and the other one went to the fore front.

Have ever talked about martyrdom?

We were in a group. We knew each other's ID card information. For example, I knew Mr. Zakeri's ID card and we could identify each other if needed. We were completely ready for martyrdom and had no fear from war. Mr. Zakeri was a brave man and helped the group in the emergency moments.

What was the reaction of the society to your reports?

We had a close relationship with the War Supporting foundation and we tried to cover all the events. There were the most important missions and activities of us during the sacred defense that I still save them in my memory. We never felt tired during working with him.

If you have any memory you can tell us…

As I told you before, he had joined us as a Basiji member. He really loved to hire as a IRGC member. I like to be martyr with the cloth of IRGC. Finally he reached his wish and martyred in the path of Islam.
