The holy Ten Days of Down, with due attention to returning of great superior leader Excellency Imam Khomeini (peace be upon him) and victory of Islamic Revolution, had the highest honor for Muslim people during 1400 years and accordingly is a unforgettable ten days for our great people and Muslim people generally. With due attention to the importance attached to this matter, our prisoner mates in the prison periods hardly tried that in order to respect its ritual have a respectful ceremony that it is to the dignify of these days and proper to their prison situation. Even though mentioned from Baghdad to this camp that in these days they must be more careful and they intimidated hard too. In the meantime, four months before arriving down days the activities were begun in a way that enemy could not notice. In the first place, our comrades tried as appreciation to those comrades that in prison showed outstanding and tolerance prepared precious gifts for them. The things that they had were their clothes; if they could store them they would store them for these days, but since were not many clothes, they tried to sew prayer case from old clothes. Made hearts of stone, by dates seeds and cutting them they made rosary and by thread of socks and sweater and … they made cotton shoes. By the way, all these were provided and in case of gift distributed among active individuals.

Other program were football or volleyball matches that were arranged over several months before and programmed in a way that their final coincidence with Down days, and therefore Iraqis saw the excitement arising from the holding these matches, since was a course of game that its final was held they couldn’t oppose it. In addition to these, across Dawn days every night we tried to perform a program, for example delivering a lecture or reading a written passage.

Of other programs was this that those things were happened in revolution period in revolution victory days were collected as day-by-day events and read it that had a good effect. Holding wrestling matches, karate, kung fu games, and performing revolutionary songs was also among the programs. Even though there was not sweet, comrades took out breads' dough, dry it, after grinding and passing from a fine net and mixing with water, they made sweet dough out of it. Of course, in down days making sweet was forbidden and the enemy in these days was searching for these sweets that they called "Halaviat", too.

One night Iraqis entered the barrack and asked the comrades of Halaviat (sweets). One of the comrades even though he realized its meaning He said, " what do you say?' we except these trash bins don’t have and metal wastebaskets. Enemy that became very angry, even moved and searched all of the blankets to find the sweets, but they did not find anything and went away. Our comrades hid the sweets in the pillows and the other day brought some of that to the Iraqi doctor.

Iraqi doctors were also different. Some of them were unconscious, cruel and unfeeling and some other commitment and emotional. In those days, it was a doctor called doctor Fares that he was a very respectful person. Perhaps each week he brought medicines to the price of fifty Dinars (each Dinar equals tow dollars) of drugs that Iraqis did not bring to the camp, he bought from the city, in secret brought to the camp, and gave them to the patient that he knew need them. We sent the sweets to this doctor Fares. When he saw the sweets, he said where were these that Iraqis could not find them? By the way, those down days were held with warmth, enthusiasm, and eagerness.

The other one of programs was holding a picture exhibition of pictures collection that were sent to comrades from Iran. In addition, Pictures of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Khamenei, and Mr. Hashemi Rafsanjani were drawn. In this regard, too, several times Iraqis entered the barrack but the pictures were collected very fast. At last in that Dawn days a picture of Imam (peace be upon him) that was found. Enemy was completely amazed that which painter and from which picture this has been drawn, and without any available facilities! Almost three hundred and fifty people were detained but the picture's painter was not found.

In Bahman 22nd (February 12, 1979) they usually drew Imam Khomeini's picture on a blanket and our comrades parade in front of it. In one of these ceremonies, parades were mixed with fireworks. Comrades filled their mouth by oil and poured it on a torch that was made of fire, the example in a mobilized base in Iran (Basij base).

In one part of Bahman 22nd's ceremony, our comrade clergyman Mr. Sayed Ahmad Rasouli- that now is leader's representative in Mazandaran province and responsible of Jahad Sazandegi (Construction Organization) - was standing beside holy picture of Excellency Imam that comrade's parade. At this time, comrades suddenly brought a complete picture of Imam. All the comrades when looked at complete picture of Imam stared at it and began to cry, since they did not think that a complete picture of Imam could be drown. At the time being, Iraqi guard comes behind window and when sees staring and crying of prisoners. He cannot utter a word and by a vague voice says, "What this?"

Comrades dispersed and collected the picture and later that Iraqi soldier insisted on such event, they say him that you made a mistake, it was not been such thing you did not see anything and we do not have anything. If you want to insist on this, we bring the picture to Iraqi commander and before our punishment, you will be punished, because he will say; have you died that you could not find the picture?

At last, Iraqi soldier swore our comrades to show him the picture once but they did not do and comrades finished at this point.
