“Art of Sacrifice”? exhibition to conclude today
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - The conclusion ceremony of the exhibition ‘Art of Sacrifice’ is taking place Thursday June 14 in Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts.
26 selected artists in the three sections Modern Art, Photography and Painting will receive awards and certificates of honor, Dr. Abbas Khameyar, head of the Research and Cultural Relations of the foundation of martyrs and Veteran’s affairs announced yesterday. A total of 14 works have been selected among the 50 works displayed in the Modern Art section and the 110 works participating in the Painting section. The Photography section is awarding 12 photographs from among the 285 on display in the section. The exhibition had opened on May 24, concurrent with the anniversary of the liberation of Khoramshahr. The event will run until June 15.
