Ramin: “Rich lyrics intensify impact of war music”?
TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Rich and Proper lyrics will help the musician a lot in the composing of effective war music, Afshin Ramin told reporters.
Afshin Ramin’s musical piece “Another uprising”? was broadcast on the Iranian Television on May 24. “Proper lyrics which capture the moments of war beautifully help the musician a lot in a composing an effective piece of music”? Ramin said. “I have felt the problems and plights of war with every bit of my heart and this deepens my interest in making music that focuses on the imposed war. The subtlety of the lyrics always increases the creativity of the musician.”? Afshin continued. ‘Another Uprising’ was based on the lyrics of Shahram Moghadasi. “The lyrics match the mood of the city’s nights and the war. It describes those nights”? Afshin added. Vocalized by Hamid Gholam Ali, the musical piece was performed by the Orchestra of the IRIB and recorded at IRIB’s music center. It was aired on the anniversary of the liberation of Khoramshahr and will be re-aired on other special national occasions. Sponsored by IRIB’s center of music and revolutionary chanting, the musical piece was recorded in 2 days.
