TEHRAN, (SCIB) - Short story writing has been improving in Iran especially in the field of sacred defense literature, writer Mohammad Reza Goodarzi told (SCIB) reporter. “After a fairly long gap in the work of war writers, 1380’s seems to be a very promising decade in Iranian war short story writing.”?Writer of ‘on his knees’ added. “On the whole, contemporary Iranian Literature has made steady progress in the past 10 years. Short stories have a big share of this progress. ”? The works of this period are taking a more realistic touch, making the genre and the narrator of the story more plausible to its audience, according to Mohammad Reza Goodarzi. “The younger generation has to be well-read before venturing to write. A writer requires a lot of background knowledge in various fields”? he concluded.
