Alireza Qazveh “Sacred Defense Literature, literature of miracles”?

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - In an interview with Shahed Cultural Information base, Ali Reza Qazveh called the literature of sacred defense a literature of miracle.

TEHRAN, (SCIB) - In an interview with Shahed Cultural Information base, Ali Reza Qazveh called the literature of sacred defense a literature of miracle. “Our poetry has gone global for a long time now. It is the west that is against us and doesn’t admit this fact. Otherwise our poetry has been recognized internationally for more than 7 centuries now”? the sacred defense poet told (SCIB) reporter. “Our war literature has a bright prospect. We need to welcome it with open arms”? he added. “Contemporary war literature also needs a lot of support and reconsideration because there have been attempts to distort it”? Qazveh expressed worry about the heritage of war being left unused. He stressed the need for Iranians to conduct research into the literature of the 8 year war with Iraq. The poet accentuated the dissimilarity between our war and other wars. “Our war was a Sacred defense for us, whereas for many other countries the war is only associated with looting.”? He described Iranian Sacred defense poetry as venturing to illustrate the events of war and the ideology of martyrs rather than creating mere poetic imagery. Veteran war poet welcomed the presence of young poets among those dedicated to the poetry of war. Ali reza Qazveh stressed the need to employ all the present potentials to improve sacred defense literature. He called on cultural authorities to support sacred defense literature.
