Int'l Al-Quds Day Rallies Held in Gaza

Navideshahed: Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have marked the International Al-Quds Day. The last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan is marked to hold events in support of the Palestinians cause.

Thousands of Palestinians participated in the demonstration that started from Falasteen mosque in Gaza City after the Friday prayers, and marched through the streets. Demonstrators repeated chants against Israel and for national unity and steadfastness.

Palestinians have been calling on the Islamic countries to pay more attention to what is going on now in Al-Quds.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, are subject to an unprecedented Judaisation campaign that aims at changing its Islamic and Christian identity.

The major resistance movements in Gaza see this day as a special enforcement to the spirit of resistance, especially the solidarity of Muslims around the world.

The International Al-Quds Day is still considered as one of the few days where Palestinians feel the great amount of support and solidarity from Muslims around the world.

While Israeli continues its campaigns to distort the Islamic identity of Al-Quds, Palestinians have marked the International Al-Quds day to send a very clear message, that they’ll never forget it and that it’ll remain Islamic.
