Int'l Quds Day to be Observed in Karachi

Navideshahed: Minhal Rizvi, the President of Imamia Students Organisation Department in Karachi has announced that this year's International Quds Day rally will be held in Karachi on August 17.

He said that International Quds Day is observed on a call from Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei. He said that Pakistanis and particularly youths and students always said yes to the call of great leaders of Islam and Muslims.

The president of Imamia Students Organization said that the rally would be staged from Numaish chowrangi and culminate at Tibet Chowk after passing through M A Jinnah Road. He said that hundreds of thousands of people would participate in the rally. Eminent Sunni and Shia Muslim scholars will speak at the seminar.

The last Friday of Ramzan is observed as Quds Day in all over the world to express solidarity with oppressed people of Palestine.
