Affiliated to the Grand Mosque of Lyon, the institute has announced the objective of the forum to elaborate on the relation between Islam and modern science.
The call for the forum states: “Being a divine religion, Islam is also a source of various sciences and the relation between intellect, senses and sciences can be clearly seen in the discussions held by Muslim scholars.”?
It also reads: “self-awareness and reflection on the Nature lead to know God as the creator of the world. How can we associate modern science and Islamic teachings in today's world?”?
