Muslim World is Experiencing a New Kind of Islamic Awakening

Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with Dr Safi Jafar Safi, Supreme Advisor to Sudan's President and praised the Islamic tendency of the Iranian nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said Iran is in the midway to an absolute realization of its Islamic aims.

Iranian cleric referred to the efforts of the imperialist powers to collapse Islamic Revolution and said, "Western countries tried to press the Islamic Revolution of Iran so that it was separated from the Muslim world hence it called the Iranian Revolution with "Shia" or "Persian".

Top cleric also referred to the failure of the world powers in their anti-Iran efforts and said now the revolutionary people in Tunisia, Egypt and other countries cry out their opposition with the Zionist regime and the arrogant powers.

He described the present state of world as a new Islamic Awakening and said, "Islam invites man to a constant move towards God Almighty and it is opposite to Marxist and Capitalist currents which are a block on the way to perfection of man."

Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to implementation of Islamic laws as the commonality between Iran and Sudan and expressed his best wishes for the North African nation.

Safi Jafar Safi, for his turn, referred to his meeting with the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhollah Khomeini (RA) and said persistence of the Iranian nation against the international pressures have always been adored by the Sudanese nation.

He said, "Victory of the Islamic Revolution brought a wave of awakening and the Arab Spring is a fruit of the Islamic Revolution of Iran."
